Day 01 Arrive Beijing (D)

Arrive Beijing, the capital of the Peoples Republic of China. Meet your guide upon arrival and transfer to your deluxe hotel.

Day 02 Beijing (BLD)

Morning tour to Tiananmen Square, located in the heart of the capital, and the Imperial Palace, known as the Forbidden City - one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. Afternoon sightseeing includes Summer Palace - a former summer resort area of the royal family. Welcome Peking Duck Banquet in the evening.

Day 03 Beijing (BLD)

Full day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labour - the only man-made construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty.

Day 04 Beijing - Nanjing (BLD)

Visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complex remaining in China today. An afternoon flight takes you to Nanjing, a well-known ancient capital of China for six different dynasties. Transfer to your deluxe hotel upon arrival.

Day 05 Nanjing (BLD)

Begin your exploration today with the mighty doublecheck Yangtze River Bridge. Then onward to the imposing Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and the site of Ming Emperors Tomb and Xuanwu Lake.

Day 06 Nanjing - Wuxi (BLD)

Journey by rail to Wuxi, known as the "Land of Rice and Fish". Your visit in Wuxi includes the Plum Garden, Li Garden and a clay figurine factory in the afternoon.

Day 07 Wuxi - Suzhou (BLD)

A cruise on Taihu Lake in the morning, then a visit to Turtle Head Island. Leave Wuxi for Suzhou by afternoon train. Suzhou, known as the garden of China, is famous for its embroidery. You may visit Humble Administrators Garden and Tiger Hill.

Day 08 Suzhou - Hangzhou(BLD)

Board a canal boat for a leisurely cruise along the ancient Grand Canal in the morning. You may visit the Embroidery Institute and attend demonstrations at the Silk Factory. Take afternoon train to the idyllic city of Hangzhou.

Day 09 Hangzhou (BLD)

A full day tour to appreciate the incomparably lovely West Lake with its soaring bridges and flower-bright islets. Enjoy a boat ride on West Lake.

Day 10 Hangzhou - Shanghai (BLD)

Visit a tea plantation growing the famous Longjing green tea, and the Pagoda of Six harmonies in the morning. Take afternoon train to Shanghai, the bustling commercial heart of China. City tour begins with a stroll along the lovely waterfront "The Bund".

Day 11 Shanghai (BLD)

Sightseeing includes the Temple of the Jade Buddha where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured, then a visit to the fascinating Yuyuan Garden and the Shanghai Museum. Remainder of day is free to shop and explore.

Day 12 Depart Shanghai (B)
