Day 01 Arrive Beijing

Arrive Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China. Meet your guide upon arrival and transfer to your deluxe hotel.

Day 02 Beijing

Morning tour to Tiananmen Square, located in the heart of the capital, and the Imperial Palace, known as the Forbidden City - one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. Afternoon sightseeing includes Summer Palace – a former summer resort area of the royal family. Welcome Peking Duck Banquet in the evening.

Day 03 Beijing

Full day excursion to the Great Wall – the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor – the only man-made construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty.

Day 04 Beijing – Xi’an

Take morning flight to Xi’an, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. City tour begins with the ancient City Wall which was built in 1370 A.D. Afternoon visit to Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 A.D. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures, which were obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang. Attend a special Tang Dynasty Song and Dance Show in the evening.

Day 05 Xian

Full day excursion to the unparalleled highlight Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor in China. Added highlights are a visit to the Huaqing Hot Spring – a former resort area especially for the emperors and the royal family and a visit to Banpo Village – the remains of a Neolithic village dating back 6,000 years. Primitive tools and household utensils are displayed in the Banpo Museum.

Day 06 Xian – Chengdu

Fly to Chengdu by morning flight. Afternoon sightseeing includes Thatched Cottage of Dufu, erstwhile home of famous poet in Tang Dynasty and River – Viewing Pavilion.

Day 07 Chengdu – Leshan – Emei Mountain

Take a bus to Leshan to see the 71-meter tall Giant Buddha. In the afternoon, an excursion to Mount Emei by coach.

Day 08 Emei Mountain - Chengdu

Climb up Emei Mountain early in the morning, and leave the mountain to Chengdu by bus.

Day 09 Chengdu - Kunming

Morning flight takes you to kunming, capital city of Yunnan Province. Half day excursion to the Dragon Gate in West Hill and the Golden Temple.

Day 10 Kunming

Full day tour to the Stone Forest by the car, which is 89km east of Kunming. You can appreciate the Karst Mountains, rivers, forests and caves, and also the local folklore of the Yi, Zhuang, Miao and Yao ethnic groups.

Day 11 Kunming - Dali

Take a morning flight to Dali, upon arrival tour to Erhai Lake, Three-Pagoda Temple, Butterfly Spring and the Old Town of Dali.

Day 12 Dali - Lijiang

Take a bus to Lijiang in the morning, then tour to the Black Dragon Pool and the Lijiang Old Town, which was put on UNESCO World Heritage in 1997.

Day 13 Lijiang

Full day Tour to Dragon Spruce Meadow, Yufeng Temple, Baisha Murals, visit the Naxi local people in the afternoon.

Day 14 Lijiang – Kunming

Morning flight to Kunming, visits the site of 99’ World Expo.

Day 15 Depart Kunming

Your exciting journey draws to a close as your board your international flight home.
