Crew Member Visas are issued to crew members who are engaged in international aviation, navigation or train transportation and to their accompany family members. The requirements for a crewmember visas are as follows:

a. C-Visas will be issued in accordance with a bilateral agreement between two parties. If there is no agreement, an official visa notification letter or fax from the relevant authority of Chinese government is required;

b. The crewmembers of chartered flights must submit the application letter from the carrier. A landing permit must be obtained prior to departure.

c. Crewmembers who intend to visit China for sightseeing or to visit their relatives must apply for a tourist (L) visa despite the validities of their crewmember (C) visas.

Important: Former Chinese citizens applying for Chinese visas with a newly issued/renewed foreign passport for the first time should also provide the original Chinese passport, or photocopies of the foreign passport before renewal with all records of Chinese visas on it

Your ORIGINAL Passport: It must have 6 months validity for single entry, 12 months for double or six-month multiple entry, and 24 months for twelve-month multiple entry and at least two blank visa pages remaining

Visa Application Form: Download New China Visa Form2011A, Complete Online, print and sign it, one form per applicant. Incomplete visa application forms may result in visa refusal and/or delay. ***In Section 4, please fill out all fields. If you are visiting relatives, list their name, address in China, phone number, and email address; if you are travelling, please list the travel agency's name, address, phone number, and hotels reservation.

The ORIGINAL of your Canadian PR Card or Valid Visa for Canada if you are not holding a Canadian passport Supplementary Visa Application Form: Download Supplementary Form2011B, Complete Online. If you are not a Canadian citizen, you must fill out this form too.
